Australian Historical Studies has a high reputation not only in Australia but also in the world history community. Since its inception, the journal has been committed to publishing high quality historical research covering a wide range of historical topics in and around Australia. It provides a platform for historians, scholars and researchers to present their research results and theoretical discussions.
The journal has a wide variety of articles, including original research papers, review articles, book reviews, and reviews and discussions of historical events. It places particular emphasis on in-depth analysis and critical thinking of Australian history, while also focusing on international and comparative research relevant to Australian history. In this way, the journal not only promotes a deeper understanding of Australian history, but also enhances the status and influence of Australian history in the study of global history.
