The Journal of World History published research on historical issues that need to be investigated, with evidence on a global, comparative, cross-cultural, or transnational scale. It is dedicated to studying phenomena that transcend a single country, region, or cultural boundary, such as large-scale population mobility, long-distance trade, cross-cultural technology transfer, and cross-border dissemination of ideas. The purpose of this journal is to promote a deeper understanding of global historical processes, by providing cross-cultural, cross national, and cross regional perspectives to reveal the interaction and mutual influence between different civilizations.
